1. About the Site

The Site provides information about The Black Magnolia Venue LLC (“The Black Magnolia Venue,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including our wedding spaces, packages, amenities, photo gallery, tour scheduling, and ways to connect with our team. We work to keep it accurate, but information such as pricing, packages, availability calendars, and policies can change without notice. Venue reservations and dates are governed by the venue's formal written rental agreement and event contract, not by these website Terms.

2. Using the Site

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

• Submit false or misleading information, or submit information on behalf of someone else without permission
• Send spam or unsolicited messages through our forms
• Try to interfere with, damage, or gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems
• Copy or use Site content for commercial purposes without our written permission

Age requirement. The Site, our online forms, and our text messaging program are intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to submit a form, schedule a tour, or opt in to text messages. Children under 13 should not submit any personal information through the Site.

3. Forms and Information You Submit

When you submit a form, request a tour, register for an open house, or contact us, you agree that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to provide it. How we handle that information is described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Venue Tours, Bookings, and Third-Party Services

In-person venue walkthroughs and tour requests submitted via the Site do not constitute a guaranteed date hold. Formal date reservations require an executed Venue Rental Agreement and receipt of the required non-refundable retainer. Third-party vendor services (such as caterers, florists, photographers, coordinators, and DJs) are independent contractors; your engagements with them are subject to their own agreements.

5. Payments, Retainers, and Fees

Online deposit payments or invoices are processed through secure third-party payment processors. Retainers and booking fees are generally non-refundable as detailed in your written venue contract, as dates are held exclusively for your celebration. If you believe a payment was processed in error, please contact us immediately.

6. Events and Scheduled Appointments

Private venue tours, bridal previews, and rehearsal times are scheduled subject to staff availability and active wedding schedules. The Black Magnolia Venue reserves the right to reschedule walkthrough tours in the event of severe weather or active client ceremonies.

8. Intellectual Property

The content on the Site, including text, photos, logos, floorplans, and graphics, belongs to The Black Magnolia Venue LLC or is used with permission, and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. Any other use requires our written permission.

9. Links to Other Websites

The Site may link to websites we do not control, such as social media platforms, preferred vendor directories, and mapping providers. We are not responsible for their content, terms, or privacy practices.

10. Disclaimer

The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Site will always be available, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Black Magnolia Venue LLC and its owners, managers, staff, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or our messaging services.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Black Magnolia Venue LLC and its owners, staff, and affiliates from any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana. Any dispute relating to these Terms or the Site will be handled in the state or federal courts serving Sabine Parish, Louisiana.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
